  • Dharamshala town –  at an altitude of 1450 meters with all the regional government institutions, a very well equipped market area, and a large residential area.
  • Mcleodganj– set atop a ridge 400 meters above Dharamsala, the Headquarter and temple complex of H.H. the Dalai Lama in exile. The Tibetan settlement with a colorful market as a commercial center. A lively conglomeration of Tibetan monks and nuns, Tibetan Refugees, Kashmiris, locals, and visitors from around the world.
  • Bhagsunag– Where the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course takes place, is a scenic mountain village 2 km from Mcleodganj. A spread of local houses across the mountain slope interspersed with little trails running through corn and vegetable fields. Center for Yoga, Ayurveda, and Healing. Famous for the old Bhagsu Nag temple, with its fresh potable water spring and swimming pool.An ancient world tree landmark –the giant cedar trees of Bhagsu Nag.
